1. Scope and controller
Jon Buck Enterprises, LLC, operating as Just Make An Offer For It in Joplin, Missouri, controls the personal information described here. This Policy covers the public storefront, new-item email alerts, offer form, and owner-only inventory manager.
2. Information we collect
- Offer information: name, email address, optional phone number, offer type, proposed cash amount and direction, selected item or bundle items, pickup note, and the date and status of communications.
- New-item alert information: email address, selected categories, delivery frequency, consent record, communication status, and unsubscribe status.
- Trade-item information: item name, category, condition, description, estimated value, ownership confirmation, uploaded photos, and any information you provide about defects, title, liens, serial numbers, safety, or transferability.
- Transaction information: accepted amount, invoice status, pickup arrangements, and related records. For rental requests, this also includes requested dates, intended use, final agreement, agreement-acceptance timestamp, deposit, tax, booking and return status, and condition or incident records. We do not collect or store payment-card numbers or security codes on this Site.
- Site and security information: basic request, device, browser, IP address, authentication, and error information generated by our hosting and security providers.
- Owner information: the authorized owner's ChatGPT sign-in identity used to protect the inventory manager, plus listing text and uploaded item photos.
- Limited usage counts: first-party records of page views, item views, offer-form openings, bundle additions, offer submissions, checkout starts, and completed payments. These counts do not use advertising cookies, store an IP address, or create a cross-site profile, and are kept for up to 90 days.
- Information you choose to provide: content in an offer note or a message to us. Please do not provide sensitive information that is not needed for the transaction.
3. How we use information
We use information to display and manage inventory; provide requested new-item alerts; evaluate, accept, reject, or counter cash, trade, and rental proposals; check rental availability and intended use; verify ownership, identity when needed, and condition; create final agreements; communicate; send an accepted customer to secure Square payment when applicable; arrange pickup, delivery, exchange, return, deposit handling, and condition documentation; keep business, insurance, and tax records; prevent fraud and abuse; protect the Site; resolve disputes; and comply with law.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the Site and transaction flow, including OpenAI Sites for hosting and storage, customer communication and workflow providers, and Square for accepted-payment processing. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, insurers, authorities, or transaction parties when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, claims, or a business transfer.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising.
5. Payments
Payment happens outside this Site on a Square-hosted page after an offer or rental is accepted and any required final agreement is acknowledged. Square receives payment and transaction information under its own notices. Never enter payment-card or bank information in an offer note or send it directly to us.
6. Cookies and similar technology
The public storefront does not use advertising or analytics cookies. OpenAI Sites and Sign in with ChatGPT may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology for hosting, security, authentication, and abuse prevention. See our Cookie Notice.
7. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including the life of an offer, sale, or rental and its return, deposit, claim, customer service, security, accounting, insurance, tax, legal, and dispute-resolution needs. Retention periods vary by record type and legal obligation. Alert preferences are kept while active. After an unsubscribe request, we retain only the limited suppression record needed to honor that choice. When other information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, or object to or restrict certain use, where applicable. You may also appeal a denied request where state law provides that right. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required by law or needed to complete a transaction, protect rights, or prevent fraud.

9. Communications
Offer, rental, agreement, acceptance, payment, safety, handoff, return, and deposit messages are transactional. If you voluntarily provide a phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about that specific offer or transaction. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to stop texts.
New-item alert emails are sent only after separate email-alert consent. You may choose all categories or selected categories and immediate alerts or a weekly roundup. Every alert includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from alerts does not stop necessary messages about an existing offer or purchase.
10. Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. People under 18 may not submit offers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; contact us if you believe a child provided information so we can address it.
11. Security and location
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including restricted inventory access and third-party secure payment processing. No system is perfectly secure. The Site is operated in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States by us and our providers.
12. Changes and contact
